THE OL’ DOGS METHOD
WHAT IS THE OL’ DOGS METHOD?
There is a need for mindful programming for Masters Athletes.
The Ol’ Dogs Method is a program that recognises the age of Masters athletes – that they are not 20 year olds; that they come with injuries or are prone to injury; that they have families and/or jobs and/or pursuits that reduce their time available to train; that they need a bottom up approach to training which means laying down solid foundations of technique and strength.
The Ol’ Dogs Method aims to get Masters athletes competition-ready in the CrossFit/Functional Fitness world, but also promote longevity so that they can continue competing or pursuing the lifestyle they want.
When competition is done and dusted, we will actually be happy to know that you can move with ease and be fit and strong enough to maintain your independence well into your twilight years….90….100…who knows?
SO, WHO ARE WE?
The Coaching Team is a collaboration of 4 Coaches from CrossFit GEO – a Box that first opened it’s doors in 2011.
The combined knowledge and skills of Luke, Liam, Reace and Adam has been funnelled into the Ol’ Dogs Method to ensure a balanced and holistic approach to training for Masters. Each of the Coaches brings with them a specialty that has been harnessed to make you better – Olympic Lifting, Gymnastics, Mobility, Movement, Endurance.
