CrossFit GEO is all about community. We strive to create a community within the gym that fosters positive interactions between it’s members; which provides a safe place for people to test their boundaries and fail without shame or embarrassment; which supports the growth of it’s members not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well; and which promotes a greater awareness of the world we live in.

In partnership with the “Friends of the World Foundation” (a charitable fundraising organisation started by the owners of CrossFit GEO, Adam and Johanna Brown) we take active steps to get our members involved in charitable causes to help those in need and support projects that make positive changes to our world.

In 2015 we ran a number of events to raise money for those affected by the earthquakes in Nepal, and then took a group of members over to Nepal to give the money directly to those who needed it.

In 2016 we created an event in the gym to raise money for the “Rainbow Round of Sport” initiative to support the stance against homophobia in sport.  We also did a lot of work with “Friends with Dignity” which is an organisation that supports women who are the victims of Domestic Violence start a new life.

2017 saw us travel to Africa to get hands on with the building of a playground for a group of 30 orphans being cared for at “Kili Kids”, a home in Tanzania.  We also be brought them educational and sporting items to try to enrich their lives.  In addition to that, we donted money to two conservation organisations who do amazing work protecting and caring for a number of different species including elephants and rhinos which are in rapid decline due to illegal poaching – The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

We donated money to Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya. The Rhino is “Sudan”, the very last male Northern White Rhino in the world. Unfortunately he died a short time ago due to old age and health complications.
