The focus of CrossFit GEO is obviously to make people fitter.  But we want our members to experience so much more than that.  We take a holistic approach to improving a person’s life by exposing them to challenges and experiences outside of the gym that also tap into their mental, emotional and even spiritual state.

A few weeks ago we went for an overnight hike in the Blue mountains.  Two years ago we traveled to Africa, and two years before that to Nepal.  We try to help those in need through charity events to raise money for various organisations.  We have social events that don’t involve any training at all but just a chance to hang out and get to know each other better.  And we get out of our comfort zone by participating in events outside of CrossFit like Spartan Races and City 2 Surf.

Our community is a true community – we are not just using that as a buzzword to draw people in.

***Building weight.  Reps are touch and go.  Have 10 secs rest between 3, then 2, then 1.  Have 2 minutes rest between each “cluster of reps”.

20 Push Press 45/30kg

Rest 1 minute

2 rounds for time of:

20 Jumping Lunges

10 Front Squats 45/30kg
