ANOTHER WEEK – ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY TO ATTACK YOUR GOALS

THIS WEEK’S PROGRAMMING INTENTION

This week the weights are being dialled back because of last week’s testing week.

The results from last week showed the Coaches that many had “cleaned up” their Clean technique with 3RM PB’s being thrown up left, right and centre – well done! We’re now going to shift the focus onto more overhead stability work while maintaining our posterior chain accessory work.

Over the next 5 weeks we will build towards another testing week which will also include aerobic testing.

You can also look forward to seeing a few repeat workouts from last month appearing in this one

WORKOUT OF THE WEEK

STRENGTH

6 sets of:

3 Front Squats (build up to a heavy set)

METCON

5 rounds for time of:

10 Thrusters 40/30kg

10 Burpee to plate

5 Tuck Jumps

ACCESSORY WORK

3 x 1 minute Overhead Bar Hold (load appropriately)

3 x 1 minute Planks
