A MIXED BAG OF GOODNESS TODAY

Sleds drags are great because they offer no eccentric loading and very little impact through the joints. They are also technically a very simple exercise. Whilst they induce a major burn through the legs while you are doing them, they are actually a really good way to promote recovery for the legs. True story.

WORKOUT OF THE DAY
STRENGTH
A. 3 sets, not for time of:
100m Sled Drags supersetted with
10 Front Rack Lunges (unbroken and AHAP)
***Try to go as heavy as possible for both the sled and the lunges. Ideally there should not be more than 3 rests taken on the sled, and zero rests on the lunges.
METCON
For time:
21-15-9 HSPU
42-30-18 Double Unders
***alternate the movements – 21 HSPU then 42 DU’s, and so on.
