WORKOUT OF THE DAY
3 supersets, not for time of:
15 Banded Squats
15 Good mornings 20/15kg
***Do not rush these. Focus on good form. For the squats, use a purple or pink band. Loop it around a post of the rig at knee height. Step into the band and pull up to knees. Walk back so the band is under tension then squat, trying to drive the knees out against the band.
25 min to get 1RM Clean & Jerk
***Time to retest your C&J. When you get close to your previous 1RM, don’t get greedy start throwing 5’s on either side. Use the small plates – go for 1 or 2 kg PR first.
3 min Forearm plank
***If you cannot get 3 mins in one go, accumulate 3 mins.
