WOD – Thursday 2 April 2015
Today is the official start of our 2 month strength cycle. We’ll be hitting CrossFit Total to establish 1RM’s which we will work off over the course of the cycle and re-test them again at the end. If you are unable to attend today, then you may want to come along to one of the Open Gym sessions to do it. Failing that, we will just work off your existing 1RM’s.
To ensure we get through the WOD in a timely manner, we’ll be sticking to very strict times to be spent on each movement – Back Squat (20 mins), Strict Press (12 mins), Deadlift (18 mins). Please the warm-up as soon as you get in.
Whilst it is not compulsory, I do strongly encourage you all to record your lifts in Wodify. The more data you have in there, the more useful it will be to you in monitoring your progress and making goals.
****Please note, we will only be open for a 5pm Open Gym session on Friday. Saturday will be normal. Monday will only be a 9:30am session. Back to normal on Tuesday.
