WOD – Thursday 26 February 2015


The CrossFit Games Open will officially start tomorrow at 12 midday with the announcement of Workout 15.1.  Rich Froning and Matt Fraser (1st & 2nd place from the Games last year) will go head to head – this will be streamed live on the CrossFit Games site. You will then have until midday on Tuesday to attempt the WOD and submit your results.  If you have not yet registered, it’s not too late.  YOU can be a part of the annual experience that tends to bring the best out in individuals and the community.  We will be running workout 15.1 at 5pm on Friday (during the open gym session), from 8am on Saturday, and then during all of the regular sessions on Monday.

You do not have to be registered to do the WOD.  If you aren’t registered and you happen to come in on Monday, then you will be doing workout 15.1.

On Saturday, from 9.30am, we will be having a sausage sizzle with juice, tea and coffee.  The cost will be $5 per person which you can pay on the day. Hope you can make it.

Snatch 1.1

Every 2 mins for 20 mins, perform 2 snatches, with a 10 sec rest between each one.  Build up your weight over the course of the EMOM.  Start at around 60% of your 1RM.



“Scooby Snacks”

For time:

5 Power Snatch 70/50kg
10 Box Jump Overs
10 Power Snatch 65/45kg
20 Box Jump Overs
15 Power Snatch 60/40kg
30 Box Jump Overs

***Box Jump Overs – Both feet must stand atop the box as you cross over to the other side.  Step-ups are allowed.
