Yoga tonight at 7.15pm on the main floor at CrossFit Geo



Tonight we’ll be kicking off a concerted effort to get you, our members, moving better by introducing a weekly Yoga class at 7.15pm on the main gym floor.  There will no longer be an Open Gym at 7pm.  It is my firm belief that a weekly Yoga practice will not only improve your mobility, but it will also see you make gains in your isometric strength (holding positions) and expose you to poses that will transfer over nicely to gymnastics such as Headstands, Handstands and Planks.  Your Balance and Coordination will be tested also.

Do not expect this to be easy.  Yes, Yoga can be scaled just like CrossFit , but benefits will come from you working outside of your comfort zone – holding poses while your muscles begin to shake from fatigue, focusing on attaining correct body alignment, and learning to stay calm and centered.

So get yourself into the Box for Yoga on Tuesday night at 7.15pm.  We have mats available but if you have your own, please bring it. Namaste.
